Sunday School is offered during both the 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services, and uses Lifeway's "The Gospel Project" curriculum for Beginners through fifth grade.

"Approved Workmen are not Ashamed" - 2 Timothy 2:15.  Awana is a national program "reaching kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love and serve Him."

Our Awana club started in 1982.  It meets on Wednesday nights during the school year, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.  Each meeting includes times for a devotion, scripture learning, and games.

The last week of June, VBS takes over the whole church building, transforming it to incorporate the VBS theme.  For the last five years, we have averaged 175-200 kids and about 70 workers.  The program is for K-6, plus a nursery and preschool class for workers' children.  Many teens from the youth ministry serve as small group leaders.  There is no fee to attend VBS.

About half the kids are from Calvary.  Of the other half, one-third list no church home. 

We generally use Group VBS curriculum.

For many years, Calvary has offered Kids Camp for grades 3rd-6th, with 6th graders now having the option to attend Middle School Camp.  Since 2012 camp has been held at Mayfield Youth Camp. 

Most of the camp staff is from Calvary.  We have two counselors per cabin, one of whom is a high school youth.
